Start

You do not need to have it all figured out to begin.

You might have an idea, a rough prototype, or a problem you understand because you encounter it every day. You might know you want to build something but still be discovering what.

Start is the early-builder arm of Solution Sandbox. We’re developing it for ambitious people of any age and background who are ready to move from thinking about an idea to doing something with it.

Learn through real work.

We believe learning and building belong together.

Understand a problem. Talk to the people experiencing it. Make something small enough to test. See what happens. Improve it, change direction, or discover a better question.

The purpose is not simply to learn how companies work. It is to develop the judgment and ability to build one.

The support we’re designing combines practical instruction, founder coaching, and help from people who have done the work themselves. Learning should meet you where the challenge is, whether that means designing a product, approaching a customer, or deciding what to try next.

Potential matters more than polish.

You should not need an impressive résumé, a finished business plan, or the right connections to take your idea seriously. Curiosity, initiative, honesty, and a willingness to follow through matter more.

Our aim is to make that opportunity accessible, including to people whose ability to pay would otherwise keep them out.

Progress might mean a working prototype, a first customer, or clear evidence that the original idea needs to change. It should always mean a greater ability to act.

You do not need to arrive as a founder. Start is about becoming one through the work.
